They have been joined in a Steering Group by representatives from a wide spectrum of concerned citizen groups. It will take place in London on 1-2 September. The initiative is the result of areas of concern raised by our members.

A special opportunity to present a gain support for the Scottish Peace Covenant is being offered by Portobello Churches Peace and Justice Group. It will take the form of a Peace Walk from St Philip's Church, Brunstane Road North, Portobello, starting at 10.30am, to Portobello Town Hall, where the Peace Covenant books will be available for signing until 2pm.
Those interested may join the walk, taking about 15 minutes, or come along any time between 11am and 2pm to register their support, gain further information from stalls such as “Scotland's for Peace” and others with related concerns.
