EUROPEAN DAY OF ACTION AT FASLANE – EASTER SATURDAY – 3 APRIL

April 3 will be a European Day of Action to ban nuclear weapons. Non-violent actions will take place at every European NATO nuclear weapons base in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Italy, Turkey, United Kingdom and Belgium. The Faslane event is being organised by Trident Ploughshares and Scottish Clergy Against Nuclear Arms (SCANA).

Meet at Faslane Peace Camp at 12 noon. Walk to Faslane North Gate starts at 12.30pm prompt. Symbolic blockade of North Gate from 1pm. Communion Service at 1.15pm.

Hot drinks provided. Bring a picnic and your friends!

(Getting there: 316 bus from Princes Street, Helensburgh (across from Helensburgh Central railway station) waits for trains from Glasgow Queen Street - but leaves straight away! Alight at Faslane Peace Camp. Limited car parking available on right hand side parallel to main road just before Peace Camp.)
