On Sunday 18th September, Edinburgh St Marks, a local Amnesty International group will be continuing their celebration of 50 years of Amnesty International with a concert at Canongate Kirk on the Royal Mile in support of its Burma campaign. Tickets are £10 (£7 concessions) and all proceeds from the concert will go jointly to Amnesty International and to the families of Burmese political prisoners.

Lindsay Martindale, Cellist and long standing member of Amnesty International says:

16 Days   Music to raise awareness of violence against women.  You are cordially invited to the second radical song night in Edinburgh.  We wil be gathering once a month to listen to singers of radical songs and to share songs, stories and poems with each other.  Entry free with raffle and donations collected for a different charitable cause each month.
