The Cameo Cinema is screening Countdown to Zero, Lucy Walker's 2010 documentary on the current state of the nuclear arms race. Walker's film traces the history of nuclear weapons within the framework of global politics, and presents the argument that, contrary to popular belief, the nuclear threat has actually risen in recent years. Following the screening there will be an interactive debate held in the Cameo bar, in which members of the Edinburgh nuclear disarmament community will come together to discuss issues raised by the film.

Although the film Jeremy Hardy vs. the Israeli Army was "on one hand [intended for] a British audience," as explained by director Leila Sansour, it also aimed to communicate to the rest of the world that Palestine isn't just a land of "sad faces and dead bodies." Sansour wanted to show a universal audience "that it's a hospitable place" like the Palestine that lives in her memory.
