The Cameo Cinema is screening Countdown to Zero, Lucy Walker's 2010 documentary on the current state of the nuclear arms race. Walker's film traces the history of nuclear weapons within the framework of global politics, and presents the argument that, contrary to popular belief, the nuclear threat has actually risen in recent years. Following the screening there will be an interactive debate held in the Cameo bar, in which members of the Edinburgh nuclear disarmament community will come together to discuss issues raised by the film.
